Monthly pace of tomato paste imports remains higher than those recorded before the Covid pandemic.
The total quantities of tomato paste imported by the Top20 importing countries (*) over the past twelve months (1.59 million mT, August 2021 – July 2022) were approximately 101,000 mT (6.8%) higher than in the previous corresponding period (1.49 million mT), and 213,000 mT (15.5%) higher than the average of the same periods of the three previous marketing years (1.38 million mT).
