Monthly pace of tomato paste imports remains higher than those recorded before the Covid pandemic.
The total quantities of tomato paste imported by the Top20 importing countries (*) over the past twelve months (1.652 million mT, December 2021 – November 2022) were approximately 138,000 mT (9.2%) higher than in the previous corresponding period (1.51 million mT), and 268,000 mT (19%) higher than the average of the same periods of the three previous marketing years (1.383 million mT).

Comparison of monthly imports over past two years
