CTGA agreement for 2023 crop

31/01/2023 - Press release - 2023 Season
On 30 January, CTGA announced it had reached a price agreement of $138.00 per ton with all processors for the 2023 season.

CTGA considers $138.00 to be a fair and reasonable Base Price for the industry, growers, and processors alike. This represents a 31.4% increase from 2022. The Board also felt it was important to set the price to provide the growers certainty for 2023.

There will also be an increase in late season premiums for 2023. They are as follows (paid on delivered ton basis same as last year):

The rest of the terms are the same as the 2022 master agreement.

We will begin having further discussions with regards to the 2023 Organic price. It is our desire to have the Organic pricing completed in a timely manner.
