CFT: New evaporator ART3MIS Longrun MVR

Italian food processing equipment manufacturer CFT launches its new mechanical vapor recompression evaporator, ART3MIS Longrun MVR™, designed for the production of high quality tomato juice.

With extended operating times between cleaning in place (CIP) cycles, the new CFT evaporator Art3mis Longrun MVR™ ensures maximum efficiency and productivity, allowing processors to focus on what truly matters: delivering high-quality products to their customers consistently.
 Using the most advanced MVR technology and a descending circulation design, this evaporator sets new standards in energy and technological efficiency in the production of high-quality tomato juice, achieving concentrations up to 14 Brix for 90 working days without cleaning and up to 16 Brix for 30 working days without cleaning.
Among the advantages of this new equipment, the manufacturer claims improved steam efficiency and energy savings, allowing processors to achieve outstanding steam performance and energy efficiency with no steam consumption during regular operations, thanks to mechanical vapor recompression that also cuts CO2 emissions.
Another decisive advantage is the operational periods between CIPs unmatched on the market, with equipment that operates throughout the entire tomato season, up to 90 days, depending on the Brix level of the product.
The manufacturer explains that Art3mis Longrun MVRTM “breaks concentration barriers”, reaching concentration levels of up to 16 Brix on Hot Break products, equivalent to more than 80% total water removal.
CFT also emphasizes improved product quality, thanks to higher heat transfer efficiency and short holding time.
