California: Price agreement signed with five processors

In its bulletin dated 3 August, CTGA announced a 2020 price agreement was reached with the following processors.

The CTGA has agreed to field price USD 80 per short ton (about Euro 75 per mT) with the following processors:
Campbells Soup Company

Los Gatos Tomato Products
ConAgra Brands, Inc.
Stanislaus Food Products
Del Monte Foods, Inc.

Late Season Premiums are as follows:
9/15 – 9/21 $0.00 per net ton
9/22 – 9/28 $4.00 per net ton
9/29 - 10/5 $8.00 per net ton
10/6 – 10/12 $12.00 per net ton
10/13 - end $16.00 per net ton
The rest of the terms are the same as 2019 Master Agreement.

The above processors have agreed to pay a price of USD80 per ton for the 2020 season. This agreement is contingent on CTGA getting an industry agreed to price of USD80 per ton with all processors. 
CTGA will continue to discuss with the other four processors to reach resolution of 2020 pricing.
