California: State of the harvest as of 23 September

Week ending September 16th yielded 840,920 short tons (sT) (762,800 metric tonnes (mT). Week ending September 23rd is projected to be 741,000 sT (672,161 mT), with projection on week ending 30 September amounting to 709,000 sT (643,134 mT). If achieved, these figures would bring the total harvested in California up to 9,931,025 short tons (9,008,433 metric tonnes) for the 2017 season, which represents 86% of the initial forecast (11.5 million sT or 10.43 million mT). 
 

As of September 16th, a total of 394,381 Organic sT (357,744 mT) have been harvested this season.
