FBR ELPO: Mustang Aseptic Filler

Achieving extremely high working capacities to satisfy the BAG IN BOX market.

It is possible now, thanks to the new completely automatic MUSTANG aseptic filler, built in stainless steel with double filling head with production capacity up to 1.200 bags/h.
Designed for the filling of a wide range of products, liquid and with pieces, the new Mustang filler is particularly performing in the filling of the tomato in all its forms, from the juice to the paste, from the puree to the diced, from the soup to the sauces, both with fresh product during the crop and with reprocessed ones when the season is over.

The new Mustang filler is ideal also for the aseptic filling of other low and high acid products, such as natural fruit juices and concentrates, tea, milk, cream, ice-cream basis, etc.

Thanks to its significant flexibility, the MUSTANG filler can handle pre-sterilized bags from 1.5 to 20L with continuous module and can work with bags that use any type of spout available on the BAG IN BOX market including those with pre-mix or post-mix dispensing pipes.
Spouts can be “short neck” or “long neck type”, placed in the centre or in the corner of the bag. Another distinctive feature is the possibility to sterilize the cap either with chemical agents and/or by using steam.
A particular transportation system for the bags inside the aseptic area enables you to keep both the sterilization tunnel and the filler head entirely closed off and isolated from the external environment, even in the lower advancement spout area. This ensures the maximum level of sterility with a low consumption of sterile air, chemical agents and/or steam.

The standard version allows the reception of the product directly from a sterilizer without needing the interposition of an aseptic tank (usually indispensable for this kind of machines).
Dosage can occur by volume (magnetic flowmeter), as in case of tomato products filling, or through the weight (Coriolis massive) for other products.
During tomato filling, the valve cleaning is by steam, but it can be switched and changed to sterile air/nitrogen if the product to be filled changes.
The remote-assistance device assures connection, via internet, between the FBR ELPO management station and the customer, allowing the former to act following the customer's request and access permissions. The system can perform diagnostics and updates on the program and monitor the work phase of the system directly or modify parameters if necessary. It can even repair or reload the management program of the system.

Likewise, all the production and diagnostic data can be saved and exported for statistic internal data or to be shared with FBR-ELPO engineers.

Thanks to the process monitoring, data saving and connection to a MES system, the equipment is already compliant with Industria 4.0 requirements without any additional costs.

The Mustang filler can be adapted to the FDA standards, upon request.
