California 2020: Crop situation as of 15 Aug., projection to 22 Aug

California is projected to finally reach the one million short tons mark with deliveries of 1,020,428 short tons (925,630 metric tonnes) expected during the week ending August 22. If achieved, this would bring the provisional total up to 5,063,430 sT, (or 4,593,037 mT), nearly one million short tons below the average of the last five years at this date.

During week 7 of the harvest (ending August 15), PTAB estimates that 967,199 sT (877,346 mT) were  delivered, bringing the provisional total to 4,043,002 sT or 3,667,407 mT.

 
 
 
Solids as of August 8 were about 2.4% higher than in the same period in 2019, averaging 5.44, and organic deliveries for the week ending August 8 were 36,479 sT (33,090 mT), bringing the total to date to 335,?879 sT (or 304,676 mT).
