Californie : Situation de campagne au 22 juillet

La semaine dernière (semaine 28), un total de 343 310 tonnes courtes (311 400 tonnes métriques) a été récolté, dont 51 743 sT (46 900 mT) de qualité « biologique ».
Pour la semaine s’achevant le 22 juillet (semaine 29), cette quantité devrait pratiquement doubler, à 660 000 sT, soit 599 000 mT), du fait de l’élévation du rythme de fonctionnement des usines.
Selon le Département Cultures du PTAB, les perspectives de récolte pour la semaine finissant le 29 juillet s’élèvent à 868 000 sT (787 000 mT), ce qui porterait le total livré aux environs de 1,9 millions sT (1,72 millions mT).
