Argentine : San Juan augmente ses surfaces de 10%

Dans une récente déclaration à propos du niveau de production dans la province de San Juan et des problèmes posés par les importations de concentrés, le représentant de l'Association Tomate 2000, Horacio Angelelli, a annoncé : "Nous allons augmenter la superficie cultivée en tomates d'industrie de 10%. » 

Parallèlement, M. Angelelli a rappelé que les flux d'importation se maintiennent toujours, parce que la production locale reste insuffisante et que les produits d’origine extérieure sont moins chers que les productions locales.

Quelques données complémentaires
Sur les cinq dernières années, les achats extérieurs de concentrés ont mobilisé des produits d’origine chilienne (80%), chinoise (14%), péruvienne (4%) et US (1%).
