California: State of the Harvest as of 7 October

The week ending October 7th is projected to harvest 441,000 short tons (sT) (or 400,031 metric tonnes (mT)) and week ending October 14th is estimated to deliver 144,000 sT (130,622 mT). This will result in a total of 10,447,506 sT (9,476,933 mT) harvested by week ending October 14th, or 90.85% of the initial projection (11.5 million sT or 10.4 million mT). 
 
Of the 441,000 short tons harvested during week ending September 30th, only 15,373 sT (13,945 mT) were Organic. So far, a total of 427,437 Organic short tons (387,728 mT) have been harvested this season.
