After careful consideration, the local host committee has decided to convert the 2020 Tomato Disease Workshop to an online format, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing that the Tomato Disease Workshop attendees are a long-standing community and not just meeting participants our 2020 online format will be an opportunity for members of this community to communicate regional updates and share research discoveries via short poster or oral presentations.

Who should attend?
The Tomato Disease Workshop will be of interest to researchers and students, tomato breeders, extension educators, crop consultants, tomato producers, processors, industry representatives, government regulators and anyone involved in or interested in the successful production of field or greenhouse tomatoes.

Mark your calendars now for the 2021 Tomato Disease Workshop to be held at the University of California in Davis. Although we can't be certain that COVID-19 will be a non-issue in November of 2021 we maintain our excitement around inviting fellow tomato disease enthusiasts to California. Save the Date now, October 31st - November 2nd, 2021. To be held in tandem with the planned 2021 Tomato Breeders Roundtable which will share a tour with the Tomato Disease Workshop group on November 2nd, with meetings to follow on the 3rd and 4th in Davis.
